Sand Volleyball
Introducing our first annual Sand Volleyball Tournament--Saturday, August 15, 2009!
Join us for a day of fun in the sand at The Sandbar (4625 Kellogg Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45226). This is a great opportunity to get your coworkers/family/friends together while supporting a great cause.
Details:
- Registration at 12:30 PM. Team Captains report to registration table to receive court assignments.
- Play begins at 2:00 PM.
- Tournament will follow pool play with the top 2 teams from each pool advancing to a single elimination tournament.
- Teams consist of up to 8 players. A maximum of 6 players, with at least 2 females, are on the court at one time.
- Rally scoring will be used for all games.
- Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place overall teams.
- Food and drinks will be sold at the event.
- No alcohol may be brought into the Sandbar.
Registration cost:
- $200 per team if postmarked by 7/10/09
- $225 per team if postmarked by 7/31/09
- $250 per team if postmarked from 8/1/09-8/10/09
All proceeds will benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Cincinnati to support the many free services that are offered, including: Community Education, Support Groups, Counseling and Camp Scholarships for kids with epilepsy who would like to attend Camp Dream Catcher.
